This local hike is about 12 minutes from our home. The right side of the mountain trail is somewhat easier but still challenging. At the top of the mountain you'll ve able to most of Knoxville. Don't recommend night hiking unless you have the correct gear.

This is our favorite hike in the Smokies its located at the Townsend entrance before you get to Cades Cove. The entire hike is a waterfall and under trees it's also a gradually up.
