An adorable coffee shop in a renovated bungalow next to Asheville Yoga Center - this is my new favorite coffee shop. Have a nice walk over or quick drive (it's about 1/2 mile away - but an easy walk through neighborhoods). Both inside and outside seating (in a garden setting).

Fantastic "French comfort food" restaurant in heart of downtown (Lexington Ave corridor). Go early -- they do not take reservations and stay busy! They also have a Parisian sidewalk cafe, Creperie Bouchon, for lunches and less formal food, set in the courtyard area. Very charming!

Curate, a product of renowned chef, Katie Buttons, has received significant national food scene attention and kudos. This tapas style restaurant books way in advance so you'll want to pre-book before your trip to go here.....Little secret: Katie Buttons also has a new restaurant tucked away on the street behind Curate. It is called Nightbell...Great for romantic and quiet dining (and less known so you have a better shot at getting in).
