Close to the house, Taco Wednesdays, cheap drinks and friendly patrons and staff. Not a super noisy spot either. Has the typical tavern ambiance (nascar, couple tvs, gambling machines etc..)

Arts & Culture
The Holly Theatre is currently and slowly being restored to it's former glory, but they allow tours of the inside and provide the history of the theatre as well as the vision for it. It is a very interesting tour and takes about an hour. Many restaurants are close, as is downtown Medford.

Britt is known for the concerts, but many people that visit don't realize there is an extensive network of hiking trails in the area. The trails are very clear and most all somehow connect and can be looped together. Visiting the trails provides great views of the valley and some insight into our local mining history. A great spot for day hikes and either connected to the Britt, or very close to it, depending on the trails you take. Many locals don't even know how extensive these trails are.

Albertson's is a full grocer including bakery, deli and butcher. It is more expensive than the Thunderbird across the street, but the "Dirtybird" has no deli or bakery though it does have a butcher and cheaper groceries.

This is the grocery store for the budget minded. While it is considered a full grocer, it is on the smaller side of things. Better prices than the Albertson's across the street.

Getting Around
There is a bus stop about a block away from here, on Jackson that will take you to Jacksonville or the transfer station, depending on the direction of bus you get on. The main station is in downtown.

Thursdays and Saturdays the local farmers market is held. Everything from local cheese, fruit, veggies to handmade crafts and hot food. The Market is only held in the Spring and Summer. Close to great Breakfast spots too.
