Amazing cocktails plus some great pub food - burgers and quesadillas! They play hip-hop and the staff are probably the nicest in London.

London Fields pub is fab if its's a nice day as it's located right next to London Fields with plenty of outdoor space.

Best coffee in London. Fact. This is from someone who has lived all over London for 8 years. Their breakfasts are served Thursday-Sunday and are also fantastic - it's a small place though so expect to queue at the weekends!

Shopping

In addition to being a shopping experience, a trip here is sure to be a sensory one. The colours of all the plants being bought and sold are stunning, as are the perfumed smells that seem to have permanently settled over the market. This market is unique in London as it focuses solely on plants and has continued almost unchanged since Victorian times, providing Londoners with the opportunity to explore both the home-grown and the exotic varieties.

Each weekend people flock to buy fresh produce, vintage clothes, flowers, coffee, books, groceries, street food and handmade goodies – and to generally hang out. On a sunny Saturday, the market can be almost too busy to walk through. But the rest of the week, despite the coffee shops, restaurants and chic boutiques, it still feels like a local high street complete with a kebab shop, post office (the best place to get cash), Costcutter, old-school barber shop and excellent hardware store. Even off market day, you’ll find it buzzing with people pottering about, nattering over coffee and doing their weekly shop.

Parks & Nature

Known as the ‘People’s Park’ Victoria Park is one of London’s favourite open spaces. Stretched over a huge 86.18 hectares, this swath of the outdoors is nestled entirely in Tower Hamlets. In the summer, it’s taken over by a number of festivals, and in the autumn park-goers are treated to epic fireworks displays. But that’s not all: parts of the park are Grade II-listed and it was originally landscaped by the famous architect Sir James Pennethorne in 1842.
