At our own family gathering this spring (2017), my cousin, Beth, zip lined with her husband and afterwards, simply walked across the street back to the house while her hubby went back to the top to retrieve their car.

To find the trailhead, drive or bike downriver 1 mile, to the bridge. The trailhead is on the left.

This botanical preserve is 268 acres of rich cove forest, granite, spring-fed streams, and a moderate 1/4 mile trail to a 90 ft. waterfall. Pearson’s Falls is a perfect stop when visiting the area. They have picnic facilities and can accommodate all types of groups and cyclists.
