I often cycle along the prom to the marina then pick up the under cliff down here to Rottingdean and stop for coffee a Mollys on the beach.
Lovely cycle along the coast approximately 10-12 miles one way.
But as you can see by the name often walked by many.
(Rottingdean a lovely, small, quirky, old little sea side village.)

This old 1930’s lido has recently been refurbished, I took my kids regularly when they were younger (to the old version) about a 10-15 min drive depending on traffic.

Top tip… the cafe in the Water-sport Center, small, fully licensed, reasonably priced and sells food snacks, good coffee etc.
Staff, lovely, friendly and welcoming.
