The Manor House Golf Club and Castle Combe Circuit are both within in walking distance and the footpath opposite connects up with a series of walks across the land of the Castle Combe Estate and beyond. The accommodation is designed in an open plan layout containing a bedroom area with queen size bed, living room area with a TV, sofa and log burning stove and a well-equipped kitchenette with a table and chairs. The bathroom comprises a toilet, sink, heated towel rail and walk-in shower. There are also tea and coffee making facilities and an iron and ironing board. Our local pub the Lock Keeper is a 5 min walk away. We are alongside the River Avon - from the front door you can walk straight over the fields. The Swan pub in Swineford is roughly a 45 min walk away & The Bird in Hand in Saltford is approx the same, all of which serve good food. There are many quality golf courses close by.
