This cozy, 2 bedroom apartment is situated on our quiet 30 acre property 9 miles from downtown Marquette and 45 min from Pictured Rocks in Munising. The apartment is separate from our home. The apartment is above our barn, one flight of stairs. We have frontage on Big Creek which connects to gorgeous Lake Superior. We have kayaked and fished from our spot to the big lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. The River House

The River House is a two bedroom cottage on the Chocolay River in Marquette, Michigan. It is adjacent to a bike path and walkway that runs through Marquette County, along the shore of Lake Superior. This cozy cottage has a deck and sun room with a view of the river, and is close to beaches, marinas, and the beautiful city of Marquette. The River House is a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot accommodate snow mobiles on the property.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is newly built home designed to resemble a train depot on the outside and made to be a comfortable and relaxing space inside. There is a boxcar and a caboose on the property that are being rehabbed and will eventually be available to rent on this property also. It is approximately a 15 minute drive to downtown Marquette. Due to allergies this a no pet listing.
