In the hillside hamlet of San Pietro a Marcigliano, a few minutes away from Lucca, nestles The Monastery, a charming holiday house with pool surrounded by olive groves and wine yards. The construction of the main building of the estate goes back to the 1550s. La nostra casa si trova tra Camaiore e il paese di Pedona, località Campiglioni. Il corpo centrale risale alla fine del '300 e nasce su un costone di pietra come stalla e alloggio. Ampliata e ristrutturata nel corso degli anni, al suo interno troviamo pavimenti di cotto dell'Impruneta, inferriate della famosa fonderia di Candalla, mattonelle di Vietri e travi antiche originarie di un antico palazzo Camaiorese. Non vi aspettate la perfezione, i suoi piccoli difetti la fanno essere unica.
