Your home away from home is a two level unit in an incredible vintage Queen Anne landmark home. Your apartment has been beautifully furnished, luxury beds with feather toppers, view decks, and all the details you need to make your stay perfect. Our apartment has two official bedroom (walls not shared) with one queen bed and one king. An additional sleeping nook has two twin beds perfect for kids or additional guests. We have plenty of free on street parking as well as two driveway spaces that you may use anytime they are free. The kitchen is stocked for all your cooking needs. You will find all the condiments and extras on hand necessary, including coffee and creamer (priority uno). We will do our very best to make your stay enjoyable at a price that makes it affordable to visit Seattle again in the future. Many of you like the ability to check in early, which is possible when the guests prior text me to say they have vacated (often guests leave before the 11AM check out time which allows me to get a early start on the cleaning). Guest will have access to our parking/driveway, view decks, and all the advice a person could want about Seattle eating and drinking! We use a keyless entry system to make things super easy on in and out. It's your trip, just pay your money and take good care of the apartment and the rest is up to you. I am here if you need me via text, however, I'm often times not on site. This well-located home is only two blocks away from the famous 'Frasier' view. The top of Queen Anne is an historic and very walkable area, with great vistas. There are also plentiful bars, cafes, bookstores, salons, tea shops, and eateries. We are a three story victorian with a massively overgrown hedge on the Galer side and a driveway on the very wide 5th West side of the street. There are two driveway spots and street parking. Please use anything that is available. Transportation: If you aren’t planning on renting a car (not necessary in my mind) we have some great options. Airport/Car Service: ABC Transport (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) This car service is the most reliable, safest, most affordable way to get to the airport. Steve will answer a call 24/7 and could not be nicer. The airport is a flat $35 (tip not included) to and from Seatac. The cars are huge old town cars and very safe drivers. They are absolutely always on time both coming and going, and the extra trunk space for suit cases is great. It is CHEAPER to use this service than to take a cab and they know my location. I know that some of you are taking side trips once you arrive. ABC does transportation to many places so it is worth a call to see talk over your plans. Around Seattle: UBER CAR SERVICE The Uber app connects you to a driver at the tap of a button. Once the app is installed on your phone you can pull up a map to see the cars in your area. When you install the app you will put in your payment information. Once ready for a car simply pull up the app, drop a pin at your location, and wait for a car in the area to confirm they will pick you up. You will get a text message with your drivers name and photo as well as an estimated time to pick up. You can watch the car on the map make their way over to you. It’s very slick! You can choose between the fancy new town car or SUV (fun for weddings or special events), Hybrid Vehicle (unmarked but manned by a taxi driver), or lastly a citizen’s car (marked by a furry pink mustache). The citizen car is the cheapest route, but don’t worry….the driver and the cars have been vetted with background checks on both the driver and the car (which must be 5 years young or less, clean, and safe). There is no exchange of cash or tipping since that’s all included in your prior setup of the account. I’ve found it to be very affordable depending on which car level you choose - and so dang simple anyone can use it! I’m unaware of the car seat installation policy if you have young ones, however, I recommend this service and use it personally several times a month. DO NOT take Uber to the airport as will cost you a fortune. BUS: There is a bus stop right in front of our home that will take you directly downtown. If you want to find a specific destination Metro has a trip planner that can be helpful for busing to any location in Seattle. WALKING: Seattle is a great city for walking. The walk downtown is easy going down (we are at the tipity top of Queen Anne Hill about 2 blocks from the famous Fraiser skyline view) but the walk back can be a thigh burner. On top of Queen Anne we do have multiple great dining options as well as a Trader Joes (best grocery store ever and so cheap) just just a few blocks away, parks, pools, cafes, nail shops, and bars Please be light footed early in the morning and late at night as to not disturb the family that resides below. Old houses are notoriously loud and delicate! We will do our very best to make your stay enjoyable at a price that makes it affordable to visit Seattle again in the future. Charming Secluded Guest Suite near Woodland Park

This secluded and very quiet, 370 sq ft in home apartment, space is nestled in the trees with a territorial view to the southwest. If you have an appreciation for hand crafted details this is the place for you: hand made windows, a bed frame made from salvaged fir bleacher seats, owner designed light fixtures, and traditionally crafted woodworking details throughout. The Chestnut stays cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with its heated concrete floors. Open all twelve windows south and west and you might think you’re in a treehouse. This space is thoughtfully designed as a restful retreat after a long day of exploring or hectic day of business travel. If you like to cook, the kitchen is complete with a gas range, a full size electric oven, microwave, under counter refrigerator/ freezer, farm style sink, and all the needed utensils. The Chestnut has its own secure entrance and private patio. It is accessible by stairs only. I am here and happy to help. Perched on the hilltop above the historic business district, the Chestnut provides easy access to Fremont neighborhood and many delicious restaurants and local shops. Look for the many public art pieces nearby or walk along the gorgeous ship canal. There are plenty of food options within walking distance and a number of buses that will easily take you downtown, east to the University district, west to Ballard, and north to greater North Seattle.

Stay in the cloud canopy with a best friend or someone you love. Natural light from six skylights makes this space like a deep breath. Watching the treetops or clouds pass in the skylights relaxes everyone. Walking distance to coffee, lunch, and dinner. Or make drip coffee in your floating canopy - a space sure to bring about conversation and intimacy. If you need some time away from it all come to stay on your own: meditate, sleep, walk, have tea or catch up on all of your streaming. Upstairs.

Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.
