The excitement of camping with all the comforts! Outdoor grilling area with picnic table, queen size bed in the loft, 2 recliners & TV/dvd, AC/heat, sink, microwave & mini fridge. Kitchen service for 2, basic cooking essentials, towels & bedding. Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin & outdoor shower is close by at north end of store (no toilet inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Camp store & kayak/canoe rentals (through Oct 1st) on site! No pets No smoking please.

Doe Meadow, a tiny house farm stay

Doe Meadow is my newest custom designed tiny house nestled along the drive to my family farm. Sharing my little slice of heaven with guests is something I have found great joy in. Rural tourism is my passion, & all the farm animals are anxiously awaiting your visit- treats in tow- of course! Westview Retreat - Home in Thomson, IL

This home is located on the Mississippi River and has an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was once an earth home, which gives the home a cozy, cottage type feeling. The front of the home is floor to ceiling windows (with blinds) so you can enjoy the river view. Please note: our interior and exterior stairs are steep and because of the age and design of our home, we are not ADA accessible. Please be careful and watch your step! Entry is through the garage. Free parking is on site.

Includes canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after the first 2 ppl, incl. visitors. 3 night minimum w/ Fri or Sat. 2 night min. for Sun-Thurs. Wonderful riverfront home located just south of Castle Rock on the Rock River in Oregon, IL. Enjoy beautiful views of the river while enjoying the heated pool (open May 15th through Oct 10th). Enjoy fishing off the lower yard. Must love cats as there are friendly outdoor cats! The Oregon area has plenty to do including exploring the nearby state parks, climbing Castle Rock, visiting John Deere's home, antiquing, tubing and boating down the river & enjoying the quaint area shops & restaurants.

Enjoy the outdoors hiking at the Palisades State Park with miles of trails just a short drive away, kayak or fish one of the many rivers or lakes, stroll through downtown for antique and gift shopping, or visit a nearby winery. After a day of adventures, relax in the spa tub or enjoy a glass of wine on the private deck.

Galena Country Getaway

Brick walkway leads to the cedar deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking the large backyard. Enjoy dinner out on the deck and roast marshmallows over a bonfire at the firepit. The dark sky provides excellent stargazing. Kitchen features full-sized refrigerator, cooking utensils and a variety of spices. Spacious bathroom with a waterfall-style shower. Carpeted loft includes a sleep number queen sized bed and two twin beds. Close to Historic Galena & Apple Canyon State Park

LHOTP (Lil House On The Prairie)

Lil House On The Prairie (LHOTP) is aptly named because it’s located on the edge of Nachusa Grassland’s 1,000 acre south Bison pasture. The 100+ herd of free ranging Bison can often be viewed right along the boundary fence to the west! This recently remodeled two bedroom cottage can sleep six with two queen size beds and with a pull out sofa bed. LHOTP offers a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to base your adventures from. Behaved dogs & responsible owners welcome!

Downtown Freeport, walking distance to movies, bars, restaurants. Some of the summer activities include concert on the square once a month, market every Saturday. The largest car show with 1000 old cars, the air show. If you like to walk or ride a bike there’s Jane Adam’s trail. Krape park is beautiful with many trails on the river where you can rent kayaks. The kitchen is apartment sized but boasts a counter top induction cook top, oven, microwave, Keurig,and refrigerator.

This cabin is located on the serene backwaters of the Mississippi. It is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway, or ideal spot to rent for fishing tournament‘s or duck hunting. This cabin is situated next to pool 13, and there is plenty of space for multiple vehicles and boats to park. Only half a mile away from the loading dock and close by to an Illinois State Park, our cabin allows Guests to enjoy nature in a relaxed setting.
