Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat from the busy pace of life, the “Sunnysands Beach House” is the place for family fun and relaxation. Enjoy 600 feet of waterfront access to a beautiful sandy beach with a view of the Cascades or walk to the Foulweather Bluff Preserve, a “Nature Conservancy” beach with a stunning view of the Casades. Skunk Bay is on the north tip of the Kitsap Peninsula, three miles north of Hansville – just 20 minutes north of the Kingston Ferry Dock.

Explore the Olympic Peninsula while staying in our bijoux tiny house nestled in the lush rain forest at Millie's Gulch. Sip your coffee (or wine!) listening to chattering birds and frogs. Grill a steak on the BBQ, light a fire in the pit and watch the stars peak out from behind the forest canopy. Read, relax, drive around to the local port towns or just do nothing - that's how we planned it. Small pets welcome - but please check with us before booking.

Point No Point beach is a destination beach just minutes away. You can walk up the hill from my home to access ten plus miles of trails for hiking or biking.
