Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. A cozy cabin nestled in the country side of southwest Wisconsin. Located on our 28 acre organic maple syrup farm. This Amish built log cabin has its own driveway offering privacy for a perfect getaway! Sleeps 4 adults, which includes a queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 single beds in a loft area, & a queen size pullout sleeper in the main room. Ideal location in the Driftless Area for excellent trout fishing. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Viroqua for convenient dining and shopping.

Driftless Region Cabin/ Stream and Sauna

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Everything you need is here for a relaxing stay in the Driftless. Recent custom build with craftsman details, antique features and artistic flair. Wifi and TV available. No phone on site. Well behaved dogs are welcome. We ask you not leave your dog unattended unless you are confident they do not bark or misbehave in your absence. Walk to fish the Kickapoo River or put in a canoe (BYO). Well stocked kitchen with decent knives, cutting boards and cast iron. Limited baking supplies

Maple Ridge Guest Apartment

This apartment was added to the back of our detached garage about 10 years ago. Low or no VOC products were used throughout construction. Brand new appliances installed with an oven big enough to cook the biggest turkey I’ve ever dreamed of. Spectacular ridge top views and beautiful starry nights. Hiking and cross country ski trails on the property of about 75 acres. Pick hazelnuts in the fall, collect and boil your own maple sap in the spring and pick blueberries in the summer.

Near the entrance of Mill Creek Cabins, The Water Villa is shielded by a large privacy fence. A sliding door opens up to reveal a pathway to the two-story cabin. The main floor features a king bed, balcony, small seating area, and fireplace. Reclaimed barn wood walls and large windows create a warm interior highlighting the outdoors.

This is one of two cabins located on beautiful farm property in the driftless area in southwest Wisconsin. This property has been in the owner's (Tom and Jodi) family for decades.
