This cozy 1955 Sears & Roebuck kit house has been brought back to life! We vaulted ceilings and removed walls, but kept the original footprint. It is just the right size for a getaway for 2 - 4 with 1 private bedroom and a sleeping loft. It has all the modern conveniences and is nestled at Gilbert Landing, 1 mile from downtown and 15 min to TIEC. We are dog-friendly, with host approval. There is a $99 pet fee for one dog. No dogs under 1 year. Additional pet & cleaning fees longer stays.

Recently remodeled brick ranch with everything on one level. Pet friendly with a large fenced-in backyard. The house is centrally located in Forest City, where hiking and many outdoor activities are accessible. There's a city park across the treeline in front of the house which has tons of space, places to walk your dog, run the track, play/watch baseball, frisbee or take kids to the playground. There's enough to do if seclusion is your goal or plenty of things to venture out and experience.

Located just 5 minutes from Rutherfordton Hospital, 13 minutes from the TIEC, and a short drive to Tryon, Hendersonville, and the Blue Ridge Mountains so many adventures await. We installed a plumbing system designed specifically for a garden level home. It may be slightly louder than normal but it works great.
