We are a 10 minute drive from the West entrance of Joshua Tree National park and a 5 minute drive to the downtown shops, cafes and galleries. Desert Wild is a place to unwind, relax and enjoy the slow pace of the desert. We invite you to cool off in our pool after hiking, soak in our bath and enjoy the cactus garden, or star gaze from our hot tub at night.

Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, visit our four cheeky mini donkeys, & enjoy the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). This cabin was reimagined for those looking to reset and reconnect to their wildish nature.

Welcome to Shangri-La! A unique, private, and magical setting right in the middle of Cloudcroft. Almost half a fenced acre where you can wander the grounds, enjoy the fire pit, read in the cozy separate office, or grill on the barbecue. Within walking distance of the Lodge and golf course, or the Village boardwalk for shopping. Lots of personal touches! And if you watch for fairies, birds, or other forest creatures, they are all close by! Hot plate, fridge, and microwave provided.
