Spitskop Plaashuis With magnificent views over the valley towards the town of Lydenburg, Spitskop is ideal for guests needing to break away from the hustle of city life. This beautiful upmarket, semi double storey home offers a working farm experience with goats, sheep, donkeys and chickens roaming around. Although there is no fishing at Spitskop, this venue is perfect for hiking, cycling, reading, cooking and of course relaxing! Great fun to be had in the farm dam during those hot summers.

Oude Post Guesthouse-Blue Luxury Queen Room

The spacious old home, in it's own private garden, is newly renovated providing the perfect combination of historical South African homestead and modern living. The house boasts 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each of the spacious rooms has a queen-sized bed, large built-in cupboards and a desk . The first lounge leads off a long front verhanda. There is also a large living room with a smart TV, loungw,fireplace and dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted with all basic amenities.

Self-Catering/Pet Friendly

This old favorite, offers panoramic views, tranquility, and privacy. It boasts a fenced garden and spacious stoep for braais and sundowners. Adventure seekers can hike the mountain for a breathtaking vista. IMPORTANT: Regrettably, the Stone Cottage lacks electricity due to transformer damage from a recent storm. The repair timeframe is unknown, but we have a generator on hand for your convenience. We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we're pursuing alternatives.

The Guest House is on the Gold diggers pass and has beautiful views of private nature reserve (MACNR). The Spekboom River is a twenty-minute brisk walk from the Guest House. The first thing you’ll notice about the guesthouse is it’s spacious open plan kitchen, dining room through to the living room. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom have a double bed and the third bedroom two single beds.
