The house faces south towards the water and overlooks a gorgeous blueberry field that turns a majestic shade of deep red in the fall. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Daylily Cabin

Experience the peace and quiet of a private house less than two miles from Acadia National Park! Daylily Lane is the perfect location so close to Acadia but away from the crowds of downtown Bar Harbor. During the summer and early fall, we prefer Sunday to Sunday rentals but allow shorter stays in the late fall and spring. We also are open to longer stays such as multiple weeks, month-long or more.
