Sit in the chairs or chaise lounge in the private backyard listening to the birds or relax in the shared sauna after a day of skiing or snowshoeing. This classic Vermont farm estate has everything that description implies: end-of-the-road privacy with breathtaking views, where the only sound is the wind rustling through the leaves. The manicured gardens, stone walls and quaint but luxurious home seem plucked from classic American folklore. Guests can drink their morning coffee while soaking in views of rolling pastures and forested hills, and spend their days exploring the property's trails, and the beautiful towns and countryside nearby.

Caribou Cottage Ski/Snowboard Studio

Take off your ski or snowboard boots and hang up your gear to dry in the convenient mudroom, then walk into the bright and airy studio where there is ample seating. You can dine in or go out, we do have a kitchenette that includes microwave, small fridge and mini toaster oven, we do not have a full size oven. In the evening retreat upstairs to a spacious sleeping area that overlooks the entire studio. We live full time on site in the main house, the garage/barn separates us from the cottage.

Carriage House Charm

The carriage house apartment is right in the heart of the historic village of Hyde Park, Vermont. It is tucked away at the end of a little lane and offers guests complete privacy. The house is surrounded by mature trees and perennial gardens with lovely southern and eastern exposure - lots of sunshine and gorgeous views. It is only minutes from the village as well as countless recreational opportunities including skiing, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, paddling and much more.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier

Although 1 small dog is generally fine, please read further about the pet policy. Check in 3pm. Check out 11am and please park in designated spot.
