Cosy shepherd's hut with stunning views on NC 500

Perfectly situated on the NC500 and cycle route, this newly built well equipped shepherd's hut is a cosy place to rest your head. It sleeps up to 3 people. A microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and crockery make up the kitchen area. There is free wifi and a digital radio with bluetooth. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Views across to Ben Wyvis and the Cromarty Firth are outstanding and the night sky is excellent for star gazing. Red kites and hares are seen often. Licence No HI-20261-F

Riverside Cabin with large garden

Riverside Cabin is cosy, spacious and is perfectly sitauated in its own beautifully planted garden with outdoor seating. There is one double bed, a large bathroom with electric shower, a kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, toaster, single hob and kettle. There is WiFi avaliable in the cabin. The range is short and you will likely only get WiFi in the bedroom. There's a smart TV in the bedroom which is able to use the WiFi, and the TV in the living area will need to be used for DVDs only.

Spacious and bright, features include a huge 17th century fireplace, set alongside modern comforts such as a wood burning stove, open plan kitchen, shower room and king bedroom. Private garden and parking. A fantastic base to discover beautiful Highland walks and landmarks. Fans of Traitors and Outlander are in for a treat! Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) Set in an historic Highland estate this secluded location has extensive, fully fenced gardens down to the canal and spectacular views to open countryside and the hills beyond. The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

The Factor's Office is a luxury boutique room, with separate entrance, garden space and ensuite, situated as part of the historic Nutwood House. Formally part of the Earl of Cromartie estate with magnificent views of the valley and less than 5 minutes walk to Strathpeffer village and amenities. Situated in a beautiful peaceful location, a great base to explore the Highlands. There are many activities to enjoy, forest walks, mountain biking, fishing etc. Can also be booked with The Lodge.

Sealladh Dubh

Sealladh Dubh sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, there's fishing - permit required - on the doorstep,beautiful views over the Black Isle. Dingwall town centre is a 10 minute walk - aprox 1/2 mile - with many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and pubs. The North Coast 500 route also passes through Dingwall. Hill walking and nature trails are also easily accessible or if it's beaches you're after, there's an abundance. We supply tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, bread, water and butter.

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage is an extension built in 1993, and blends in with the original house (1860). It's a cozy cottage with a wood-burning stove, two double bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The upstairs landing has a desk and single bed. The house has views over to the Black Isle, the Cromarty Firth and across to the Cairngorm mountains in the south. Behind our house are six miles of forest tracks. From these, you can see Ben Wyvis in the west.

Also we are only a 20 minute drive from the Traitors Castle made famous on the BBC. The cabins are designed for two adults and two children, space on sofa bed is restrictive for two adults.
