Sunrise Casita: a tiny house at Cana Barn

Our 250 sq ft tiny house was built by our talented craftswoman Kara. We used wood from our property and reclaimed materials to create a cozy and unique getaway. The front porch looks out to a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and looks up to a local vintage sign. We are LGBTQ+ welcoming. Sunrise to us is the embodiment of a fresh start and a new opportunity. It is hope and possibility, adventure and inspiration, beauty and wonder. We hope all of this for your stay in our tiny house!

Bee & Key—Staunton downtown

Staunton (pronounced “Stanton”) is one of the most vibrant, charming small towns you’ll find anywhere, and Bee & Key is in the center of it. This bright and stylish apartment is on the second floor of a grand 1885 home on East Beverley St. You will be half a block from the restaurants and shops of our bustling downtown, including Blackfriar’s Playhouse, the Woodrow Wilson Museum, The Shack restaurant, and Mary Baldwin University. We’re an easy walk from Staunton’s historic Amtrak station.

The Staunton Hideaway

The Staunton Hideaway is a cozy, private getaway with tons of charm and a short walk away from downtown Staunton! This one bedroom apartment is apart of a duplex with a separate entrance and its own outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood. Free street parking is available and easy to access. Feel free to leave your car at the house and take a short walk across the Sears Hill pedestrian bridge to downtown where you can enjoy all of the eateries and local shops that make Staunton so special!

Between the Creeks

Welcome to "Between the Creeks", The 700sqft cabin is located between 2 Drafts (Creeks as we like to call them) You will drive over top Jonas Draft which flows into Ramsey's Draft located to the right about 500 ft. Ramsey's Draft is located behind the cabin which flows on the property! Enjoy the mountain views, listening to the frogs at the pond, and the water at the creek! Enjoy the piece and quiet! Just minutes from George Washington Natural Forest! Only about 30 minutes from Staunton.

The Laurel Hill Treehouse

Fully immerse yourself in nature in this serene Scandinavian-inspired woodland retreat, perfect for a couple's getaway. The treehouse is perfectly nestled amongst the trees, offering a chance to unwind while enjoying the beautiful views of nature. Just imagine yourself relaxing on the wrap around porch, soaking in the hot tub, cooling off in the creek, & cozying up to a crackling fire. We invite you to unwind, reconnect with nature & create cherished memories in this tranquil hideaway.

The Firefly Cottage

This century old cottage, updated with modern comforts, is perfect for a long or short stay and is located on our family farm. Minutes from downtown Staunton or Interstates 81/64. Relax, stretch out in four rooms, get some laundry done. Enjoy the peace of the rural setting. Queen size bed, large shower, fully equipped kitchen with dishes, cooking utensils, range/stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Washer and dryer. Private parking. All varieties of people are welcome here.

Stony Brook Nordic Cabin

A bright open space with large windows and high ceilings that compliment the view of surrounding foliage. A large screened-in porch at the front of the house is perfect for intimate gatherings. A hot tub is available alongside the house in addition to a two-person outdoor shower, and corn hole boards and a fire pit offer additional options for family fun. You won’t have cell phone signal out here -and the WiFi isn’t strong enough to run too many devices at one time.

Third & Thornrose, Staunton Condominium

Our guests stay upstairs in our 1929 American Foursquare house. Central air; separate entrance, wooden floors. Daily, weekly or monthly rates. Small, fully-equipped kitchen with stove and refrigerator, small dining room. The bathroom has a tub and shower. Television with Netflix. Wifi and off-street parking. Two bedrooms (queen-sized bed, two XL twin beds), living room. Short walk to Gypsy Hill Park, 1 mile to historic downtown (Trolley). Small town, Big Magic!

Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

Travelers Nook - close to downtown

The TRAVELERS NOOK is a cute, cozy, one bedroom apartment close to downtown Staunton! It’s located on the second floor, with a private entrance. It has all the charm that you would expect to find in a cute studio apartment! Built by a local architect Tj Collins in the 1920’s. This quaint space has everything you need to enjoy your stay here in Staunton! We do accept small pets on approval with a pet cleaning charge.

Walker's dream. Close to downtown.

Centrally located near the library, Gypsy Hill Park, and downtown Staunton, our private, walkout basement apartment has individually controlled heating and air conditioning. It includes a brick patio, private rear entrance and historic details from the late 1800's. It is generally quiet, but you may sometimes hear the two adults upstairs. Come enjoy this peaceful and centrally-located space.

The Storefront: Downtown Staunton + Unique Stay

Welcome to The Storefront: A Very Small Hotel. The Storefront is located right in the heart of downtown Staunton. The Storefront was built in the early 1900's and was previously a tea shop before becoming a vacation destination. It's like having your own little townhouse in the heart of Staunton's historic district! Keep your car parked and walk everywhere you need to go.
