Accessible short drive or boat ride to Lake Verret, Grassy Lake & Lake Palourde and spend the day fishing, grabbing Daquiris at Spunky Monkey, eat at Gros Marine or just enjoying the day out on the boat w/ your family and friends. Then relax on the back porch watching the sunset over the waterfront. ***3 minute drive to Doiron's Landing***

Sanssouci Fishing Camp and Rural Retreat

Two bedroom fishing camp in lower Montegut, located near some of the best fishing in the area. We have a private launch on Bayou Terrebonne for your free use, or if you prefer the Pointe aux Chenes or Cocodrie marinas are just 20 minutes away. Sleeps 6 with fully furnished kitchen, and ample parking space for boats and cars. Fish cleaning station and crab boiling and fish frying equipment provided. Pets allowed for $40 fee. Free wifi. Our retreat is an hour and 30 minutes from New Orleans.

It has a massive screen porch that is perfect for outside entertainment after hitting all of your favorite fishing spots...or take a walk to the Dularge bar for celebratory drinks!

Amenities include central A/C, laundry, surround sound, wifi, crab traps, and all the cookware you'll need. ** Please note that the roof on the boathouse is still missing from Hurricane Ida.
