An historic fully refurbished character barn attached to our traditional Welsh Long House home. Having a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed accessing it via a beautiful spiral staircase. Downstairs is an open plan lounge kitchen dinner with a wood burning stove and a beautiful chandelier. The kitchen is well appointed including electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a wine cooler. Large windows are at the front and back of the property with the most stunning views.

Gwarcwm Farm Crog Loft Hot Tub and Riverside Sauna

A crogloft is a traditional Welsh mezzanine, tucked away in the eves. Somewhere to quiet retreat to. Gwarcwm's Crog Loft is at the heart of the home, an old farmhouse beautifully restored. We hope you will love it as much as we do. The house is attached to a small field that slopes steeply down to a river at the bottom. We've recently finished building a sauna next to the river and installed a wood-burning hot tub, making this a perfect place to wind down when the day's adventuring is done.

This unique traditional stone cottage oozes character, is set in its own valley surrounded by stunning forest and valley views. A perfect location for walking, cycling, wildlife spotting or just soaking up the tranquility. The Elan Valley, Red Kite Feeding Centre & local amenities of Rhayader & Llandrindod are a short drive away. The village has a friendly pub & is a central location to explore the iconic mountains & beautiful beaches that Wales has to offer. A perfect choice to unwind.

The house is a stunning oak-framed farmhouse style stone cottage. Complementing the owners’ 17th century farmhouse next door, it boasts oak framing throughout, complemented by modern décor. The aim of the design was to blend the houses into the landscape, to make the most of the beautiful views from the interior, and to use natural materials, like our own organic meadow grass on the roof! Sheep’s wool insulates the walls and welsh timber clads the exterior. Much of the furniture and interior details have been upcycled to stylish effect.
