The Chesnut Cottage is the perfect quaint romantic getaway or rustic writer's retreat. One of three AirB&B listings on our 10-acre property atop Harper's Hill, it is surrounded by woods and a short walk up from the Puget Sound where you can fish from Harper pier or kayak over to Blake Island. The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Harper is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

This fully furnished, light-filled studio sleeps 2 in a comfy queen bed, has a wood stove (wood provided), a full kitchen, bath with shower, picnic area and propane barbecue. Horses graze outside your window; wildlife abounds. Pets welcome with $45/1 or $60/2 fee. A non-smoking property.

Vashon View Cottage

Bright cozy studio cottage on the north end of Vashon. Puget Sound, Mount Baker and nature views. Newly renovated throughout with large deck to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and water views. Quiet neighborhood within 10-15min walking distance to and from the ferry (note there is an incline as we are on the hill above). Deer, hawks, eagles and more surround the property. Come enjoy a local jewel and experience small island living, just a 20 minute ferry ride away from Seattle!

Unwind from the hurly burly in this bright, cozy cottage. You'll find a spacious, full kitchen, living room area, and Queen bed. Enjoy coffee in a sitting area behind the cottage, or spend a relaxing evening there by the fire. Walk to trails, tennis courts, coffee roastery, and Vashon Center for the Arts. A mile and a half from the shops and restaurants of Vashon town. There's a pullout couch in the living room area. Full bath. 650 sq. ft.
