The Cabin at Painted Canyon Homestead This serene cabin is situated at the mouth of a canyon overlooking Morongo Valley, where the high desert meets the San Gorgonio & San Jacinto Mountains. As the guest house on our property of 5 acres, the cabin is privately located bordering vast public lands. Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, visit our four cheeky mini donkeys, & enjoy the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). Perfectly suited for two w/ lots of space to explore!

The entire back yard is exclusively yours to enjoy, an enchanting and magical space. It is also one of the earliest homes built in the historic Warm Sands area of Palm Springs, only a two-minute drive to downtown. Your own oasis awaits. Please note the pool is not heated, and we do not have a hot tub.

Country club does have pools, spas, tennis courts, a gym and a restaurant, Shopping is close by. Indian Wells Tennis Gardens 15 minutes away, Fantasy Springs Casino 7 minutes away, and The Spa and Casino is 20 minutes away. The casita has its own entrance , and central heat / air.

We are 15 degrees cooler than Palm Springs in the summer. Our back area stays at around 70 degrees in the winter. This was a cattleman's bunkhouse at the turn of the century and is located on the San Jacinto/Santa Rosa National Monument. It borders with the San Bernardino National Forest and is across the highway from hiking and equestrian trails.
