The cottage originally served as the law office of Mr. Geoffrey Stevens, a prior resident of the Coor-Cook house.

I Built in 1913, this historic site was originally the Norfolk-Southern Cafe. In the 1930s, the building was the site of grocery stores and meeting spaces, eventually becoming a popular coffee shop called "The Coffee Caboose".
