The Cottage is located in historic East Poultney next to the old Poultney schoolhouse (now historical society). Slate Valley hiking/bike trails surround the area. About 1 mile to the town of Poultney, which has stores, shops, restaurants and a Pub. The sidewalk starts in front of the cottage which leads directly to town. Great for a walk, jog or bike ride. Pico, Killington and Bromley Mountains all less than an hour drive. 3 miles away from Lake St Catherine and under 10 miles to Lake Bomoseen.

Peacefully nestled between the Green Mountains of VT and the Adirondack Mountains of NY, this cabin offers all of the essentials for a perfect escape from a hectic life. This is a spacious guesthouse/retreat where you can relax and unwind. There are great views and walking down the road is serene, with open fields bordered by woods and teaming with wildlife. In the winter you can Nordic ski or snowshoe right outside your door, through fields and woodland paths down by an active sugar-bush. We currently have chickens as well as my friendly dog Annie who loves to play. We also have a young kitty named LB who is a pip.
