Self contained cottage surrounded by amazing bird life, kangaroos, emus, echidna, wallabies and deer. Country life with all the comforts. Enjoy the peace and quiet, surrounded by the Grampians National Park. Sleep soundly in the king-sized bed, or enjoy a soak in the freestanding bath and watch the wildlife jump past. Our retreat is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We are located 5 minutes from Halls Gap, and close to all the Grampians has to offer including local wineries.

Kookaburra Cottage - Two bedroom eco cottage (built 2017) situated on our 13 acres bush property. Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas & a wide assortment of birdlife. We are 15 km from Beaufort. Cosy cast iron chiminea on the deck; firewood supplied. Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

Leura Log Cabin - Warracknabeal

Leura Log Cabin is located 4 mins from Warracknabeal in the bush. You’ll love the ambience, night sky and wildlife. The cabin features an open fire, queen sized bed, reverse cycle heating and cooling and WIFI. A private bathroom/toilet are located outside - 10 meters from the front door. Enjoy an evening BBQ by the fire pit under a starry sky. Leura is in close proximity to Brim - Sheep Hills silos. We provide a continental breakfast inside the cabin.

On the far side of the Grampians, nestled in stringy bark bushland on the edge of Rocklands sits Yangoora. Once home to farmers, bee keepers, rose growers and tree changers, now yours to enjoy. Settle on the deck as the red necked wallabies shyly appear and native birds splash and natter in the coolness of the birdbath. Kayak the clear water, try your hand at catching a fish or wander the dirt track to explore and be captivated by the bush.

Swampgum Rise Halls Gap

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located house. Swampgum Rise is suitable for singles, couples, families and groups. It is convenient to Halls Gap village restaurants and bars as well as close to many of the hiking trails. The house is showing its age a little (built in late 1970s), but it is cosy and homely. Special discount applies for more-than-one-nighters.
