Gillys, 2 bedroom guesthouse

Gillys is a modern 2 bedroom stand alone guesthouse situated in a quiet street. The guesthouse sits on the sheltered and private side of the main residence and one acre site, overlooking large trees and gardens. Enjoy the peaceful aspect, gaze at the stars at night and listen to the distant waves crashing on the Ninety mile beach. Metung village is only a short 8 minute drive away for your closest supplies. There is a public nature track which leads to a lakeside beach and private jetty.

The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km out of Marlo township.

Wilderness Cabin #3

The cabin is an open space with double bed, kitchenette and lounge, with views of rolling pastures, mountains & wildlife in abundance. Kitchenette is simple, yet adequate for simple cooking. There is a small gas stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and rice cooker. The cabins do not have their own bathroom or toilet, these amenities are an easy 2 min walk from the cabin. While there is no Wi fi in the cabins, it is available in the main house. A fireplace heats the cabin during colder weather.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Pet friendly cosy and warm rustic cottage on the water at Eagle Point. Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage is on Lake King of Gippsland Lakes. Cycling, fishing, walking, swimming and boating are popular here. Next door is the fauna reserve and great bird watching. It has a lake frontage and a shallow water jetty. From the moment the birds wake you, through to the gorgeous sunsets, Metung offers a variety of activities, such as boating, fishing, sailing, walking and cycling. The State Forests and beaches are a short drive away. The village of Metung is a 1.5km walk or drive away along the lakeshore.
