The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Moorakyle Retreat is on 300 acres, private, self-contained with a full kitchen, surrounded by countryside and gardens, and is set apart from the main house The cottage is modern, well-appointed, filled with natural light, with full heating/cooling and a wood fire. A must for those who love nature and animals. We are just 15 minutes from Daylesford and touring distance for all that the central highlands can offer.

Our ORTO Cottage is gorgeous: it offers privacy or the chance to engage with us. We are a Cooking School & Regenerative Farm. We offer a tour of our property on arrival: opt out if you wish. Home Amongst The Gum Trees

Are you looking for a place with good old fashioned hospitality, a comfortable bed with quality linen, a hot shower, and a sparkling clean space you can relax amongst trees & nature whilst visiting Daylesford. Daylesford is just 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, interesting stores, spas, and an abundance of outdoor areas to explore. 5 minutes west is our local pub, the " Swiss Mountain Hotel" in Blampied.

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. Excellent walking and mountain bike riding are at your doorstep or just relax at the hut and enjoy the garden, pool and sauna. In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.

Casina Marcella, a country home in which to relax

Ten minutes from Daylesford/Hepburn, Casina Marcella is a two bedroom home styled on the Swiss/Italian heritage of the area. You can enjoy the wood fire and a fully equipped kitchen means you can cook your own meals if you don't feel like setting out. Set on five acres in the peaceful country hamlet of Basalt, it sleeps up to four people in two queen size beds and is the perfect place to relax.

Dijon

Dijon is a small but charming, self-contained studio space with one queen sized bed, kitchenette, couch and table within that area. Set in a spacious garden it comes equipped with some breakfast provisions, cooking basics, separate bathroom area and outdoor garden seating. It is only a short walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse, cafes, and therapy providers or alternatively, bushland walking tracks.
