Casual hikes in the wooded areas surrounding the cabin add to the relaxation. Even a splash in the stream for kids or dogs adds to the fun. One level means no stairs and easy access for everyone. Located just a short drive to Ohiopyle, Yough Lake and other area attractions. Plus a 20% discount for stays of 7 nights.

For Nov - Mar we recommend guests inquire before booking about weather and driveway condition (4WD or AWD are often recommended). Private getaway in the mountains of SW PA. 5 min from Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. Small home with a spacious deck and large open doors that make the indoor and outdoor space a single living area. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands. For those bringing pets, keep in mind there are some dogs that run in the neighborhood and also plenty of other wildlife.

Plenty of privacy for hanging out/relaxation. This home is close to hiking/biking trails (Kendall), white water rafting/access tours (Youghiogheny River) and a short 15 min drive to Deep Creek Lake and The Wisp! There are also amenities such a as grocery, gas, restaurant and parks within walking distance. Perfect getaway!

Explore the over 5 acres of land included with our Private cabin. Enjoy the sounds and sights of Powdermill Run Creek while nestled up on the patio or screened in porch. Take in the 2,200 acres of woodlands, streams, fields, ponds while you hike on the trails of Powdermill Nature Reserve. Have a fire in the smokeless stove next to the creek or cook a woodfire pizza in the stone oven. Bring your tents, outdoor games and any other outdoor activities to make your stay special.

The Homestead

Escape to this modern log cabin in the woods of West Virginia. Situated on the West Virginia-Maryland border, it was built in 2016 and offers a reprieve from city living. It is isolated (no window treatments; see photos) and features a light-filled open master bedroom loft, large shower, two additional bedrooms, and a hot tub. You are completely secluded in the woods, yet it is only 30 miles from WVU's Mountaineer Field and 13 miles from Wisp Resort. We hope to host you!

This Dog friendly 2 story 3 Bedroom Cabin sits on 6 acres of solitude. Relax by the firepit, cookout on the grill, pick one of three access paths to sit, fish or swim in the Creek or hangout on the back porch listening to sounds of the water babbling over the rocks. Our Cabin has become know as "The Crick House". The Crick House is situated about 100 yards from the historic Mill Run Creek. Many people in this area use the slang word "Crick" in place of Creek. This explains why the name Crick House has come to be. The cabin sits at the end of a private driveway surrounded by woods. There is a short path allowing access to the creek or you can sit on the porch and listen to its tranquil sounds.
