Karoo Country Style Guest suite

We would love you to stay in our Country Style guest suite, which is situated in a large leafy garden with a swimming pool, which guests are welcome to relax in and use. Secure parking is available on property. Our property has an inverter, which makes loadshedding less of a problem. The guest suit is attached to the main house but not shared with the main house. It has its own outdoor entrance and covered living area, so privacy is ensured. The light and airy rooms are decorated with love.

With awe inspiring, 180 degree views of the Outeniqua Mountain Range set out before you, its a wonderful opportunity to just breathe. Our log chalet is spacious, north facing, comfortably modern with a fireplace set in the lounge, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere for winter evening evenings. With no farm roads to navigate, it couldn't be easier to experience the silence.

Off-the-grid stone cottage in the Little Karoo

Off grid cottage set in the heart of the Little Karoo within the Touwsberg Nature and Game Reserve. The reserve is well known for it's biodiverse fauna and flora and stunning scenery. Located off Route 62, midway between Barrydale and Ladismith, accessible with an average car/sedan, that has at least 17cm off ground clearance. The Cottage is well equipped, with indoor fireplace, cosy and completely private - the perfect Winter stay. Note: cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk; no wifi.

Vogelsang’s Farm Cottage - Self Catering

This private open-plan self catering farm cottage offers old-world charm with a stylish, minimalist touch. Designed for eco-conscious living, it runs on minimal electricity and features a fridge-freezer, water cooler, gas stove, and gas geyser. While there’s no TV, WiFi, or strong network coverage, it’s the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. With luxury linen and cozy details throughout, the cottage offers a peaceful, comfortable escape—your ideal home away from home on the farm.

The cottage is designed to be comfortable with all the modern amenities (wi-fi with UPS, TV, well-equipped kitchen) but rustic and authentically Karoo to transport you to another world, another time when life was just simpler.

When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.

3 Queen Street

3 Queen Street is a stand-alone property. The house and its facilities are for the private and exclusive use of guests. The house is not shared with other guests or the host. Guests who book the house will have the whole house to themselves for the amount of persons booked. Everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible is included.

The Cottage

Beautiful & comfortable heritage cottage in the historic town of Prince Albert. Quiet and peaceful surrounds, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!

'Uitspan' restored Karoo style Barn

Situated 7km off the R62 in the hamlet of Buffelsdrift is Uitspan's Barn. Tastefully restored, this quaint cottage has a comfy Queen size bed with en suite bathroom, antique Day bed that can sleep an extra person. Kitchen with fireplace and lounge plus outdoor terrace with braai and splash pool.

The Studio @ The Place

Escape to our retreat for nature lovers, in the magical untouched Klein Karoo, easily accessible from Route62 and the N2. The Studio is comfortable, modern and open plan with private shaded outdoor seating, spectacular views, a plunge pool and free wifi. It sleeps 4 plus two children.
