With easy access to the main level living room, relaxing is easy with comfy love seats and couch along with the large flat screen TV above the gas log fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen features everything you would need to prepare a family meal and the dining table offers a dining experience you won’t forget with the mountain views that are visible. There is also a full bath on this level and washer/dryer. Take the steps to the lower level and you will discover three bedrooms that share a hall bath with tub/shower combo. The master features a king bed, flat screen TV, access to the deck and easy access to the full bath. The other two bedrooms feature a queen bed and flat screen TV. Deck access to take in the gorgeous mountain views is available in the hallway. On the bottom level, you will find a bedroom perfect for kids featuring two sets of bunk beds (three twins and full) and a flatscreen TV. For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn. The welcoming oversized deck boasts a large woodburning fireplace perfect for relaxing outside on a cool Carolina Mountain evening. There’s plenty of seating so curl up with a glass of wine or roast marshmallows for making s’mores. Inside, the cozy living room offers new leather furniture featuring electric recliners, a gas fireplace, and a large flat screen TV for watching your favorite show or movie. The open concept living, kitchen and dining area is perfect for families. Cook your favorite meal in the delightful kitchen which provides granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher for quick clean-up, and items needed to cook a family meal. There’s seating at the kitchen island for five and the dining table offers seating for four. Beautiful house on highway 88 that is our home away from home and would love to have you to enjoy it like we do. Very large yard that you can have a bonfire or play outside games. Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.
