Beautiful grade 2 listed barn conversion with unique historical features. Mezzanine king bedroom overlooking a large open vaulted ceiling living space. Set in tranquil mature gardens & situated next to the owner's cottage & the historic Saxon village church with a lovely pub serving lunch and evening meals Tues- Sun a 5 minute walk away. We are 30 mins from Bicester Village, Silverstone, Stowe House, Waddesdon Manor, Claydon House, The Ridgeway, The Chilterns, Ascott House & Bletchley Park.

The annex is very cosy with free parking on front drive for one guest car. The bedroom has ensuite and there is a separate living room with a very comfy sofa. There is a garden and outside dining table & gazebo area at the bottom ideal for smokers. Our house has the 'Loudwater' sign outside our house if you don't see the number 9 in the dark. We are also directly opposite Thanestead Court. Our place is just off junction 3 High Wycombe East from M40 so a great location to get to locations.

Quiet village location but easy access to transport links (Heathrow is 20 mins drive, London 35 mins on the train). We are on the edge of the Chilterns, an UNESCO recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are taking bookings using the Covid19 guidelines and legislation set out on the UK government website. The Annex is a delightful, warm, quiet and comfortable dwelling built within the garden of our village home and adjacent to our garage. Towersey is one mile from the market town of Thame, and has an excellent village pub plus access to the Phoenix Trail cycle & footpath. The Annex has its own entrance with parking space, a double bedroom with king sized bed & tv, and sitting room with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, plus tv. There is a power shower over the bath.

Nestled in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, Applewood Cottage offers the perfect retreat for those looking to explore the surrounding areas of outstanding natural beauty. The house and it's surrounding areas are well situated for visiting cyclists, walkers and families who want a rural escape. Just a 10 minute walk from Haddenham mainline train station giving easy access London (40 mins) and Oxford (25 mins). Direct trains to Bicester Village take just 14 minutes.
