The cottage is situated on the Du’SwaRoo Wine and Olive Farm approximately 2 km outside Calitzdorp. It is directly next to the Du’SwaRoo wine cellar. It is ideally suited for a family and comprises of a bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom, two bedrooms with two single beds each, an extra bathroom with shower and toilet, a lounge and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The veranda is private with a beautiful view over the valley. Free wi-fi is available. Small pets are welcome.

This charming wooden cabin is built on stilts and is centrally located near the communal braai area and swimming pool, making it perfectly suited for families. Down the gravel road, past the Homestead, across the paddock over the bridge, ascending the hill and up the stairs to reach your private sanctuary in the mountains. This lovingly restored cottage, built in 1878, is nestled on the Coetzee family’s 4th generation working ostrich farm in the small Karoo valley of Kandelaarsrivier. Huis Kandelabra is just outside Oudtshoorn on the main route to Mossel Bay. The surroundings of Karoo koppies, the Kandelaars River, neighbouring farmlands, ostrich camps and views of the Swartberg and Outeniqua Mountain Ranges all add to this stylish, yet quaint cottage’s unmistakable charm.
