It’s an easy 11 mile drive to Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, or the Blue Ridge Parkway; 20 miles to Cataloochee Ski Lodge & just west of the amazing Biltmore House in Asheville. Canton was recently featured in “Our State” Magazine for the revived down town area. We love the small town atmosphere, location & believe you will too. Only 20 minutes outside of Asheville and a great hub for hiking, waterfalls, the best of the best furniture shopping, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and so much more! Why stay in Asheville when you can enjoy the true Southern charm of Western NC right here in my hometown?! Well behaved dogs are welcome for a fee!

Red Cottage

Your stay at Red Cottage will be comfortable, easily accessible, and minutes away from Canton, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. The circa 1950’s Cottage is fully renovated inside and out. Beautiful front porch and lovely sitting area in the rear of the Cottage. We are climate controlled with a mini split HVAC to keep you toasty warm in spring, fall, and winter and comfortably cool in the summer. Internet access and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Washer and dryer included. Welcome!

The quaint town of Canton is ~20 mins to Asheville and ~35 mins to Cataloochee Ski Resort and an abundance of hikes/waterfalls within an hour. Bring out the yoga mats for a relaxing meditation or fun workout, roast some s'mores over the outdoor firepit sat right next to the creek or go for a game of air-hockey!

This small cabin is close to hiking and mountain biking trails, waterfalls and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is 30 minutes from the eclectic Asheville or 15 minutes from laid back Waynesville.

From the perfect location in the Bethel community, set out to explore Waynesville, Canton, Brevard, Asheville, or the Pisgah National Forest! Enjoy coffee overlooking the East Fork of the Pigeon River, then head out to hike, bike, or explore local art, shops, breweries, and scenery. You may not want to leave the back deck or yard at all once you've settled in! Jump in the river or relax in a hammock by the water, say hi to the neighbors, or take a scenic run right from the house.

Farmer's Wife Guest House located on a 55-acre working vegetable farm close to Lake Logan, Blue Ridge Parkway, Waynesville, and Asheville, NC. This cozy and beautifully decorated space is close to 3 Country Clubs and golf courses. Located just off of Highway 215, known for the Lake Logan Triathlon Bike Course and with-in walking distance to the Pigeon River for fishing, swimming, and tubing. Private trails for jogging, a peaceful walk, or picnic among panoramic views.

This family friendly, private retreat sits on a gently flowing creek under the shadows of Cold Mountain and the Art Loeb Trail. You may want to sit on the covered porch or deck while listening to the creek. If you love the outdoors or are a hiking enthusiast, our cabin is for you. We are about 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Waynesville, Canton, Maggie Valley, and Lake Junaluska are approximately 30 minutes away; a 45-minute drive will take you to Asheville.

Blackberry Cottage

Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!

Studio on the River

This is a great little efficiency by the river that offers a great porch overlooking the Pigeon River. This is the perfect getaway for two, in the mountains of Western North Carolina, who want somewhere to stay that is affordable but with all the amenities. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to the quaint town of Waynesville and 3 miles from Springdale at Cold Mountain Golf course. Asheville is a 30 minute drive.
