Downtown Marquette is 8 minutes away, along with tons of hiking, beaches, and restaurants.

This comfortable home is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, five to ten minutes from Marquette. Perfect for families, couples, singles or business travelers. Located across the street is a small marina, where you can fish, launch a small boat, jet ski, canoe and kayak for miles. Its a five minute walk to a nature preserve, brewpub and biking trail leading into Marquette along Lake Superior and to 47 miles of Heritage Trails. Snowmobile directly from the home to over 400 trails.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

The River House

The River House is a two bedroom cottage on the Chocolay River in Marquette, Michigan. It is adjacent to a bike path and walkway that runs through Marquette County, along the shore of Lake Superior. This cozy cottage has a deck and sun room with a view of the river, and is close to beaches, marinas, and the beautiful city of Marquette. The River House is a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot accommodate snow mobiles on the property.

Marquette’s South Beach with its sandy expanse is close by, it is also the home of N.M.U., downtown is a short drive away with its many eclectic shops and micro-breweries. All attractions and destinations are within a 3 mile radius. If you like biking, hiking, snowmobiling or skiing, this is the place to stay, unwind and enjoy. Perfect for couples, adventures, business travelers and families.
