Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. legacy landing has a brand new 450 sq ft. shouse resting atop of 110 acres of beautiful woodlands. The shouse is covered from wall to ceiling in pine and cedar accents harvested from our forest and sleeps 5. Inside find a fully furnished kitchenette with indoor griddle/grill, air fryer and microwave. There are two lofts upstairs with a queen bed on one side and a twin bed on the other. Down stairs is a queen futon. 2 fully stocked fishing ponds.

Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious kitchen, large island, dishwasher, washer/dryer & 5' walk in shower. We supply all cooking/baking items/utensils. High-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee). For our fishermen- there is off street parking for your boats.

At night gaze at the stars and moon and during the day bask in the sun or look at the fields of wildflowers. When you're in the cozy cabin that was built using all reclaimed wood it reminds you of a simple, comfortable life. You'll hear pheasants, turkeys, and a variety of birds while sipping on your favorite beverage.

Close to Backbone State Park and Volga/Turkey Rivers. This is a rural property, not located in a town with any amenities. You must bring what you need or plan to travel 8 miles to Elkader (Dollar General, Wilkes Grocery, pit stop gas station)or strawberry point (Dollar General, Casey’s and Nadings gas stations)
