In our tropical garden, the beach themed guest house has all the comforts of home. Spacious, air conditioned, with kitchen, bbq, and pool side furniture. Free wifi + Netflix. You can enjoy a stroll along the palm fringed esplanade and soak up the cosmopolitan village atmosphere, dine in some of Queensland's best restaurants, enjoy a cocktail (or two) in one of the MANY bars on the esplanade wile setting your eyes on the Coral Sea and reflecting on how much you love it here.. or just have a hand made traditional Italian Gelato. Jum Rum Place, Kuranda QLD

Kuranda, home to the Indigenous Djabugay people is tucked away within an ancient Rainforest. Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.
