Welcome to Vesper Lodge. Nestled in the rugged Texas land of Wimberley with the prettiest view. The lodge has been lovingly restored to be comfortably chic. Spacious enough for a large group but charming for a writer's solitude. The sunsets and night skies are what drew us here. They bring pink-cotton-candy clouds. Then the sun crowns the valley hills in mauve until the stars begin to make themselves visible. Slowly, a few at a time, until the entire sky is covered in brilliant stardust.

Comfy, cozy, chill and surrounded by nature with open window views of the rolling hills and a wrap around deck with a propane fire pit. Hike along private trails, take a dip in the Blanco River, wake up to morning song birds and fall asleep under the stars. Secluded yet conveniently located within 5 minutes of Wimberley Square and 20 minutes to downtown San Marcos.

It brings you incredible sunrises to enjoy with your coffee and sunsets to enjoy with a good glass of wine or hot tea. We are just a 5 min walk from the Blanco River and River Road and a 3 min drive to the Wimberley Square. The house is well stocked with your kitchen essentials and bath goodies to soak the day away.

Hilltop getaway near lake and tubing surrounded by nature and panoramic views in 3 directions. Peaceful & private, yet minutes from Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake, Gruene & Wimberley. The back deck overlooks miles of sunset views with a 6-foot heated cowboy pool. Picnic area has sunrise views with firepit, games, and picnic table. *As of March 2026 a house started construction up the hill from the cabin. There may be some noise between 8am-5pm.
