This dreamy mountain inn is the perfect place to get away and relax in the mountains. It has 3 King beds a sleeper sofa and 2 baths. The home has a large yard and patio with a hot tub. BBQ grill and fire ring outside. Only a short drive to Ohiopyle and Fallingwater…less then 5 minutes! (10 mins to Nemacolin and 25 to Seven Springs) Enjoy the amenities of Ohiopyle without the crowds. Grill rental is available for $25 available April - October. Plenty of privacy for hanging out/relaxation. This home is close to hiking/biking trails (Kendall), white water rafting/access tours (Youghiogheny River) and a short 15 min drive to Deep Creek Lake and The Wisp! "Roost" in Rockwood's oldest brick house

Welcome to the Red Brick Roost Guesthouse. This historic home is the oldest brick house in Rockwood and dates to the 1870s. The house is conveniently located on Main Street in town, just .7 mile ride/walk from the Great Allegheny Passage trailhead. We also offer a locked storage area for bikes and ski equipment. We are close to other local gems: Hidden Valley, Seven Springs, the Flight 93 Memorial site, and Fallingwater. We look forward to having you roost with us!

Listen to the frogs sing in the springtime, pick raspberries and blackberries in July, peaches in August, and pears in September, watch birds from the porch swing, relax in the hammock, swap stories around the fire, and gaze up at a starry sky. Our farmhouse is on a quiet, beautiful corner of the Earth and we love being able to share it. It is private and bucolic, but a very short drive to amenities, adventure, and lots of gorgeous outdoor enjoyment.

25 minutes from Seven Springs Ski Resort, 10 mins. from Ohiopyle, 100 yards from the river and less than a mile to Lake Yeogh. The Conduit at Confluence is your place to stay to get back in touch with nature. The Allegheny passage bike/hike trail is right in town, with Ohiopyle a short and flat hour bike ride away. The home has all of the modern conveniences, including deck for relaxing and grilling, and a fenced backyard for the pups.
