With a location walking distance to St. Joseph's Hospital, this is the perfect spot for traveling staff or someone visiting a patient. Spend time among the redwoods near the fish pond in our elegant modern retreat with many artistic custom elements. Let the tension from the road melt away in our hot tub and spa like rain shower, then relax on our comfortable California King beds. Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.

Ferndale Bungalow, Pasture views, walk to town

The Village Bungalow is a sweet cottage/bungalow located in a quaint neighborhood, off of Main Street in the Victorian Village of Ferndale. Spend your days hiking among the giants in the redwood forest. Take a 10 minute scenic drive through pasture land to the rugged pacific coastline. Or simply step out your door and take a short walk uptown to enjoy our small town: art gallery, coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping! We allow a maximum of 2 small to medium sizes dogs, upon approval.

Rio Vista Farmhouse

Relax after a day of exploring the Humboldt Redwoods State Park in this peaceful, dog-friendly (for a fee), renovated barn. Nestled on a point, with spectacular views of the Eel River Valley ranch lands, redwoods, and majestic mountains. It is located right off highway 101 and just minutes to the Avenue of the Giants for exploring and hiking. Enjoy shopping and dining in the nearby Victorian village of Ferndale. It's the perfect central location for exploring all Humboldt has to offer!

Arcata home with balcony grill

Excellent location with views of the redwood forest. Our bungalow is fully equipped. Come home with your farmer's market bounty and make use of the well-stocked kitchen or balcony grill. Get cozy in the living room at the push of a button with the gas fireplace and Smart TV. Sleep soundly on either the king or queen-sized bed. If you have extra people I can provide an air mattress. Walk from your door to Cal Poly Humboldt, the Arcata Plaza, and Shay Park. A wonderful home base.

The cottage is cozy and comfortable, with handcrafted touches throughout. It is in a beautiful, rural setting with an easy 10-15 minute drive to both downtown Eureka and downtown Arcata. The cottage is on a 4-acre property nestled up against a small redwood grove, allowing for plenty of privacy for guests who are looking for a secluded getaway. NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.

Red Barn Cottage, Cozy and Charming

The Red Barn Cottage is located within walking distance of the Victorian village of Ferndale. The Cottage is a charming, separate studio with a private entrance, gated patio, full kitchen and bathroom. We provide wonderful amenities including coffee, teas, continental breakfast items and snacks for our guests. A small to medium size dog is allowed but with our approval and an additional nonrefundable pet fee.
