Adventurers can explore nearby waterfalls, lakes, and hiking trails. Enjoy quiet surroundings, go fly fishing in Sweetwater Creek, and take in the cool mountain air on the covered porch or gather around the firepit.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

The Historic Hemlock Cabin at Huffman Creek, a one-bedroom cabin is located on a private hill overlooking cascading stream. Tucked into a deciduous forest, it's the perfect place to escape to the wilderness. The Hemlock cabin was built with locally sourced wood such as Hemlock and Wormy Chestnut harvested on property. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest.
