This 90 year old cabin is rich in history with its rustic exterior and has been finished out with a modern design on the interior. The cabin is just south of Grand Lake and extremely easy to access via car, it is a five minute drive to the west gate of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!
