An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

The "Whispering Trees Luxury Cottage" is your quiet, cozy country getaway just 2 miles from town, across the street from the Mad River and 5 miles from the beach. Cruising up the long driveway, you'll be welcomed by our mustang, and adorable donkeys. We welcome guests of all backgrounds and love making new friends. Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

The Hot Tub sits in a gorgeous and totally private meadow, surrounded by the redwood forest. The location is conveniently located 15 minutes from Arcata or Eureka. Hike the redwoods, shopping in a Victorian Old Town, dine on local seasonal delicacies like Salmon and crab. Pick up necessities at Three-Corners Market, about a 5 minute drive.

Wake up to the redwoods, head into town to enjoy a cappuccino at a local coffee shop, located only 15 minutes away from the Arcata Plaza, come back to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, then get a goodnights rest on our memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets and memory foam pillows. 2nd set of sheets & pillows will only be included for 3+ guests! 4/20 friendly :) Property is shared with our main cabin. NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.
