Spacious and secure 4 bedroom/3 bath home that has been setup to sleep a large group comfortably. Bring your ATV's as you can ride them from the property directly to the trails, no trailering required! Minutes to Royal Blue and Tackett Creek trail heads and Lake Norris boat ramp. Stop at the gas station to fill up and grab snacks and ice, have breakfast at the Diner, and then head to the trails. After a days ride stop for dinner in town. Please note our riverbank is unimproved if you are looking for a natural experience we got that. If you are looking for a shoreline void of occasional entry challenges we may not be a good fit. The Wild and Scenic Waterways requires banks be left 100% natural. We have easy access locations available to everyone for fishing and swimming

In the evening enjoy the super sized patio and unwind while overlooking a gorgeous mountain sunset or get out and catch fireflies while the horses roam in the front yard.

The Ambleside Cottage

The Ambleside Cottage offers full privacy for a single or a couple looking for a serene getaway surrounded by the beauty of the Appalachian mountains. This magical cabin is conveniently located for travelers, yet Ambleside feel like a remote retreat nestled in the woods above Elk Fork Creek. The Cottage is an adorable tiny house, offering 500 square feet of living space with a kitchenette, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a shower. The queen-size bed is upstairs in the sleeping loft.
