The deck offers views of the lake, while the patio on ground level has a fire pit and plenty of seating. The additional lake front area includes another fire pit, a picnic table, chairs and a hammock. Bring a picnic and marshmallows for the ultimate outdoor weekend away! Blackberry Cottage is a beautiful mountain getaway near Lake Santeetlah and surrounded by acres of Nantahala Forest. A great place to relax, connect, and get outdoors - whether it is swimming, paddling, fishing, hiking, or biking! Close to Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest and Cherohala Skyway. A 10 minute walk to the lake and adjacent hiking trails. Enjoy your time lounging on the screened-in porch, cooking out on the griddle, sitting by the fire pit on the back deck, or soaking in the hot tub.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

The home is perfect for couples seeking a relaxing escape, or adults with children looking for a family getaway. There is 1 queen bed, 1 pullout sofa, and 2 twin stackable beds. The home sleeps 6, however the sleeper sofa and twin beds are best suited for children.

This 3/2 mountain home features a beautiful deck and a detached 1,200 sq. ft. game room—perfect for relaxing after a day of riding or driving. There’s plenty of room to park trailers, plus a two-stall garage for cars or motorcycles. The property is conveniently located just 50 yards off Highway 129, right after the Ted Jordan Bridge. A wash area with a hose is available for vehicles, and your group will love spending time in the game room complete with a pool table and poker table.
