It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. Comfort's key in this 1 bedroom barn apartment + full kitchen and bath. Pets welcome. Our 1834 farmhouse is close by. We welcome all respectful guests. We have two cats with no access to rented space. We also host a 2nd larger space - Sweet Circa 1830 Farmhouse Apt. Local art and music, 20 minutes to Parkway and Blowing Rock, 40 to AppState and Boone. Great hiking, biking, and wild and scenic Wilson's Creek close by. During busy seasons, we prefer to book two nights, especially on weekends.

Summer features wildlife, Fireflies, and a nice quiet place to escape the summer heat.
