Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Surrounded by woodland with hilltop views across the Wye Valley to Offa’s dyke, this eco friendly traditional Monmouthshire cottage is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature at its very best. Spend time in the garden listening to bird song and the gentle babbling of the stream or step out the gate to explore Cleddon Falls and beautiful view points along the Wye Valley walk. The medieval village of Trellech and Tintern Abbey are also within easy reach off or on road by foot, bike or car.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

The Laundry barn is a recently converted Grade II listed building, dating back to the 1800’s it was originally built to do the laundry for the village estate. It has been converted to the highest standard and while retaining many of the original features that make the building so unique it now boasts all the comforts of modern living such as underfloor heating, wifi, wood burner and hot tub. Set in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside, providing easy access to all the area has to offer.

This little piece of heaven sits in the centre of the village of Raglan, within the grounds of Willsbrook House, just moments from its castle & within walking distance of a pub, restaurant, village Supermarket (Tesco 7am-11pm) & award winning butcher. Ideally located for exploring Tintern Abbey, floral Usk, Abergavenny and Monmouth (all under 10 miles) visitors can also enjoy golf courses abound and the Breacon Beacons, Offa's Dyke, Wye and Usk Valleys which all provide good walking.

You will immediately feel relaxed as you immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. Lounging chairs on the decking provide the perfect place for your morning coffee listening to the birds sing and soak away your stress in the wood fired hot tub then cosy up in front of the log burner and enjoy the tranquility of the woodland.

Dry Dock Cottage

Relaxing is easy in Dry Dock Cottage: there’s a cinema snug, roll-top bath and king-size bed. The high-tech gadgetry means that, at the touch of a screen, you can control the heating, close the blinds, dim the lights and play your favourite music. With spectacular views from all four levels, this open-plan former dry dock sits at the very water’s edge. Open the bi-fold glass doors from the lounge area, to get even closer to the ducks and the boats that pass by. Pets are welcome, too.

With commanding views over Monmouth, the Wye Valley and beyond, Wern Farm Cottage is a cosy but spacious recluse ideally situated for all that Monmouthshire has to offer. Light, airy and welcoming with zip and link beds. We can accommodate 2-4 flexible to your needs. We are in a great spot for the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Cannop Cycle Centre and the Offa’s Dyke Path. There are lovely walks right from the door and so much to do nearby!
