The Backpacker

Our "Backpacker" is a cute and cozy 96 sq.ft. of tiny house nirvana. Situated on a small tidal slough, it provides a beautiful natural setting for reflection and appreciation of that which is good in life. For those looking for luxury, the Backpacker is not for you (you may encounter bugs and it's really hot in summer). However, the Backpacker has a pretty cool vibe, and is extremely convenient to historic Charleston and Funky Folly Beach. The Backpacker is for backpackers and nature lovers.

The Boathouse

We call it the Boathouse, but it could just as easily be called the treehouse. It sits just feet from a tidal creek amidst giant live oak trees. A short dock is right outside the door, so bring your kayaks or other small craft. Although cozy, it offers everything a simple cottage should. Shem Creek is minutes away, as are the beaches. Patriot's Point and parks are a short walk away. This is the closest residential neighborhood to Charleston that you will find in Mt Pleasant. ST250324 BL20139655

Spacious apartment with high ceilings. The back porch has a fantastic view of Charleston harbor. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, very close to downtown and also to beaches. The ‘treehouse’ has an open-plan design with vaulted notched board ceilings, creating a feeling of light and space, with elegant furnishings throughout. The well-equipped kitchen and grill on the porch encourages intimate home cooking. We lived in this space before we moved into the main house, so we can attest to it being comfortable, and well maintained.

By far the best location in Mount Pleasant/Charleston area. Close to downtown Charleston, beaches and Remley's Point boat ramp. Take a short walk to the community dock on our street and take in some great views while you enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset. Lots of deer to see on your walk in the evenings too.
