An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

Historic Baker House available for the first time

As seen in Dwell, Turnbull's Baker House is a Sea Ranch classic Binker Barn resting on 2 acres of redwoods. While it was built in 1968, it's been updated to make sure you have everything you need for a private and relaxing stay: the separate office has monitors and 300+ Mbps internet, the kitchen is fully-equipped, and the garage has a level 2 EV charger and a Peloton. Enjoy the outdoors year-round from the hot tub or the Galanter & Jones heated furniture that overlooks the forest and ocean.

Conveniently located 15 minutes south of Mendocino, this property offers privacy with space to spread out between the houses. The hot tub and BBQ/ Fire pit area is shared with the guest house which sits below. This is a place to reflect, relax and recharge. My sunny '70s, Sea Ranch style, 2 bedroom cabin with exposed redwood cathedral beam ceilings has amazing canyon and redwood tree views. There's a hot tub, too. It's in a very special neighborhood with really nice people. And it's close to some of the best wineries in the Russian River Valley.
